Stress causing your upper back muscles to wrench super tight? This may help!
🔧
Often practice members tell me that they notice their upper back (upper trapezius) muscles getting tight when stressed or during long work hours at the computer.
👩💻
To get these muscles to relax and reset, esp. at the end of the day, put this strategy to good use.
The steps to loosening them up are:
1️⃣ Scan the area
2️⃣ Increase the pressure to borderline tolerable
3️⃣ Tighten the muscle for 3 seconds, then relax (1-3x)
4️⃣ Fan the area around the tender point
Spend about 2-3 minutes on each tender point. And make sure you scan the muscles on both sides. ⬅️➡️
Let me know how it goes! 💬
